Performance Space

A minimum clear performance area of 6 × 6 metres is required for the standard three to five performer show. Larger casts or expanded productions may require additional space.

Stage surface
Grass, wooden floor, or non-slip flooring (no carpet or uneven surfaces)

Aerial and Rigging

The show includes aerial performance and requires a certified aerial rigging point. Existing venue rigging can be used provided it meets the required safety and load requirements for the aerial apparatus and performance.

Where venue rigging is not available, Euphoric Flow can provide its own freestanding aerial rig. The freestanding rig is approximately 5.8 metres high with a 4 × 5 metre footprint.

Aerial performances require suitable overhead clearance, space around the apparatus and appropriate safety arrangements. The aerial setup will depend on the selected acts and venue.

Fire

The show includes a dedicated fire performance section using open flame. Fire performance requires venue or event approval, any relevant permits or permissions, a suitable performance area with adequate separation from the audience, and appropriate fire safety measures.

Euphoric Flow carries appropriate public liability insurance for its performance work and follows appropriate fire safety procedures. A dedicated fire safety person or spotter is used where required as part of the fire performance safety arrangements.

Indoor fire is subject to venue suitability and approval. If open flame cannot be accommodated at a particular venue, an adapted option can be discussed.

Lighting

Some sections of the show use LED props and are most effective when the lighting is dimmed. Fire, aerial and other sections may require different lighting levels.

For larger theatre and festival productions, lighting can be designed around the different stages of the show.

Warm purple and ambient lighting for meditation segments; dynamic lighting for aerial and fire sequences

Themed lighting, if possible, to suit each part of the show

  • Meditationpurple ambient
  • Acrogreen and gold
  • Waterblue and white
  • Firered, yellow and orange
  • Airwhite, light blue and purple
  • Ether/spacedim rainbow lighting to allow for the LED’s to be clearly visible, or white soft lighting

Sound

A suitable sound system is required to play the show’s music and recorded meditation. If live narration and guided meditation are being delivered by a live host, a wireless handheld or headset microphone will also be required.

Playback
USB or laptop connectivity for background music

Setup and Pack Down

Allow a minimum of approximately 20 minutes for setup and 20 minutes for pack down. Actual timing depends on the version of the show, number of performers and props, aerial requirements, venue setup and event schedule.

Additional time will be required if Euphoric Flow’s freestanding aerial rig needs to be installed or removed. For festivals, theatres and programmed events with scheduled changeovers, Euphoric Flow coordinates setup and pack down arrangements with the relevant event and venue personnel.
