Venue Requirements
- Certified riggingA certified aerial rigging point that meets the load requirements of the apparatus and performance.
- Freestanding rigWhere venue rigging is not available, our freestanding aerial rig (about 5.8 metres high, with a 4 × 5 metre footprint) can be hired.
- Height and spaceA clear height of at least 6 metres (our freestanding rig is 5.8 metres high). As a planning guide, about 6 × 6 metres of clear performance space with good overhead clearance; more working height is often better. This is not enough for every act, so we confirm what suits yours.
- GroundLevel ground or a stage, with clear space around the apparatus.
Client Reviews
Rachel and her team were fantastic for our corporate dinner - responsive, professional and great to work with. Highly recommended!
Fantastic addition to any event!
The show was magical! Everyone absolutely loved it. Rachel was really great with communication and organising the music. I will highly recommend.
Rachel was fantastic. Very prompt in responding to the many questions I had, and turned up exactly when we had planned. She put a lot of thought into the act and used music suitable to the theme of our party. It was a really fun and entertaining part of our night. I would highly recommend.

Questions
What space and rigging does an aerial act need?
Aerialists perform from a fixed aerial point. We discuss your venue’s rigging, or our portable 5.8-metre aerial rig if venue rigging is unavailable.
As a guide, allow a ceiling height of at least 6 metres and a performance area of about 6 × 6 metres. We confirm what is possible for your act and venue.
What is the difference between silks, lyra and silk-lyra?
Silks are long suspended fabrics. Lyra is an aerial hoop. Silk-lyra combines fabric and hoop.
What is the difference between a feature show and roving sets?
A feature show is a choreographed performance set to music, usually about 10–15 minutes, performed at an agreed time.
Roving sets are freestyle: performers move through your event in shorter sets with breaks in between, entertaining and interacting with guests as they go.
What do performers need on the day?
We confirm arrival and setup time, access, parking, a secure private green room or changing area, and an onsite contact.
We also agree who provides sound and music playback, when the performance happens and how it fits around your other activities.
